Renewable Energy

Statistics has shown that there is an ongoing increase in the use of renewable energy. By the end of 2008, approximately 19% of the total global energy consumption came from renewable sources. This is a combination of various renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectricity and geothermal. In the United States alone, 8% of the total energy production comes from renewable energy sources.
